The purpose of this site is to preserve "classical" authentic Islamic books in English which have been discontinued by their publishers and/or are out-of-print. Our goal is to neither cause financial loss to Islamic book publishers or make any monetary profit out of this endeavor, thereby only seeking the pleasure of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى). We have ensured to put only those books which the publishers have not reprinted or have any intention to print for the public. Hence, these "sold out" books are made available for free in order to benefit the people who were unable to secure a copy before they went out-of-print; especially those individuals living in countries who may not have have access to authentic Islamic knowledge.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) has been performed on all books in order to optimize reader personalization (e.g., searching, highlighting, copying, commenting, etc.). In addition to that, all books now have bookmarks and anchor tags in order to enhance usability and reader experience.
